Getting Back To It

More often than should be necessary, I find myself typing up a blog post saying "I'M BACK!" only to drop off the face of the blogging planet immediately.

Why is that?

I'm not entirely sure why, but I've always seemed to struggle with blogging. Every time I sit down with my laptop to post something new, this little voice starts nagging at me telling me that "Nobody wants to read that" or "Seriously? You're not really saying anything." No matter what I always seem to feel like I need a REASON to blog/email/text/call/etc. and I have been reminding myself lately that "just because" can be reason enough.

I can't and won't promise that I'll turn into Miss PostingPants, but I can promise that I'm going to try my best to post more frequntly. For once, I don't feel this random obligation to my blog and it's something that I want to do. I'm really hoping that this little corner of the Internet can be a place for me to turn to when I'm stuggling with my writing and maybe, just maybe, meet a new writer friend or two.

  1. You never have to have a reason to share what is floating around in your brain. :) I'm interested in any and all randomness that makes you go, hmmm...

  2. I've been doing the same exact thing. I just started posting again this weekend after I thought I was going to delete my blog altogether.
